2006 Bonneville - An Antique?

The TT Deluxe was inspired by the new Bonneville. Builder Jeremy Cupp, says "I just love these bikes, they've got all the "cool factor" of you know who, but are at the same time smooth, reliable, well engineered, and they handle like they're on rails! I've been riding an '07 bonnie for awhile now, so when it came time to do a new bike all I knew was I wanted that engine."

Jeremy came across a 2006 Bonneville Black with some smoke damage, and bought it for a few hundred dollars.  The project bike was born and went through numerous changes during the design and building stages.  When he began, he was not even sure what he wanted the finished bike to look like.  He just started building and let the design flow.  During the process, it was important to Jeremy to keep the bike European, but with a historical flair.  He also wanted to do something very different, but wanted it to still remain somewhat practical.

As you can see I have a passion for the way things were done in days gone by, I just feel like things from that era show much more of a commitment to quality, skill, and hard work. This was a time when craftsmen were craftsmen, and i try to keep that alive with everything I do.

See the September issue of The Horse for more on the story and other photos.
